“Veronica Hernandez was our realtor during our home buying experience. We had initially started out stating that we needed to know what needed to be done to clean our credit up so that we could purchase a home a few months later. She and Woody Taliaferro looked through our credit and told us that we could qualify at this time for a loan that we could afford with little down. Veronica was very patient answering our questions (first time home buyers). She sent regular emails of houses in our price range and locations, letting us select the ones that we wanted to see. She always was very quick to return phone calls and was very accommodating to our schedule while we looked at homes. She strongly encouraged us never to look at too many per day; to ensure that our tiredness or frustration would not lead us to purchase a home we would regret. She explained the home warranties, the interest rates, the points, the closing, everything that a new home owner gets overwhelmed with. She told us what not to do while we were waiting to close on the house, to ensure that one extra credit item wouldn’t’t delay or even stop the closing. When we did find our home, Veronica knew it at the same time that we did. While we were walking through the house (pretty much writing the contract up in our head, in the entry way), she said the house was totally us and she was right. We did have some minor issues in the contract negotiations and Veronica worked through it very well with the realtor of the seller. Overall our home buying experience was great and I do thank Veronica for all of her patience and understanding as we found our “first” dream home.”
